active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A physical therapist is
needed to provide specialized support within a high school setting
in Porterville, CA. This role focuses on delivering physical
therapy services aligned with students' Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs) to help them achieve their educational and physical
goals. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality physical
therapy interventions for students according to their IEP goals. -
Conduct regular consultations totaling approximately 120 minutes
annually, with the possibility of additional consultation time. -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to
coordinate student care and ensure effective therapy integration. -
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided. -
Participate in team meetings and student evaluations as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Licensed Physical
Therapist with relevant state certification. - Experience providing
physical therapy in a school environment. - Knowledge of
educational regulations and IEP development processes. - Strong
communication and collaborative skills. - Ability to manage
documentation and compliance efficiently. Position
