Manager Position Description: Under direction oftheCEO,theMarketing
Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing
strategic marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines of
business and brands within an organization) in order to attract
potential customers and retain existing ones. Duties and
Responsibilites: 1. Organize promotional events at trade shows and
other venues, coordinating with our staff to ensure prompt delivery
of materials and merchandise. 2. Identify weaknesses in existing
marketing campaigns and develop pragmatic solutions within
budgetary constraints. 3. Manage and coordinate lead marketing
research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing
products/services, and liaising with media organizations and
advertising agencies. 4. Communicate with management about
marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as brainstorm
fresh strategies. 5. Manages the Advertising, Sponsorships, and
Event Functions for the Tule River Economic Development Corporation
and all business managed by TREDC. 6. Coordinates activities with
outside Advertising Agencies. 7. Collaborates weekly with the CEO
on all projects which include, but not limited to, photo shoots,
billboards, printed materials, posters, direct mail, digital
marketing including website, radio and television spots, etc. 8.
Serves as a company representative while generating new promotional
ideas, reviewing external promotional proposals and presenting
programs that meet established objectives and marketing strategies.
9. Develops marketing plans special events for all businesses
managed by TREDC. 10. Coordinates with management on design
development, implementation and post-event evaluation of all
special events and promotions. 11. Submits recommendations for
special events and marketing programs and develops forecast
operation results. 12. Arranges and escorts as needed; tours of the
properties for the media, and special groups or individuals. 13.
Analyzing activities, cost, operations and forecast data to
determine progress toward stated goals and objectives for each
business. 14. Reviews guest comments, complaints, and inquiries in
a prompt courteous manner. 15. Ensures a maximum level of customer
service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained. 16.
Responsible for communication of all programs to appropriate
Management and Staff. 17. Maintains professional and technical
knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing
professional publications, establishing personal networks, and
participating in professional societies. 18. Provides quality
customerservice. 19. All other job specific duties as assigned by
the CEO. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelor'sdegree in
Marketing, Business Administration, Communications
orinarelevantfieldwith5 years in marketing or equivalent
combination of education and experience. 2. Excellent communication
and decision-making skills. 3. Ability to think creatively and
innovatively. 4. Budget-management skills and proficiently. 5.
Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of
experience in the field. 6. Analytical skills to forecast and
identify trends and challenges. 7. Familiarity with the latest
trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web
design, production, etc. 8. Familiarity with online content
marketing and social media development strategies. 9. Proficiency
in Marketing software. 10. Expertlevel knowledge andskills
usingMicrosoftWord andOutlookwith proficiency in Microsoft Excel
and PowerPoint as well as Social Media web platformsisrequired. 11.
Outstanding written, editorial, and verbal communication skills are
required. 12. Must have excellent social skills, able to operate
with diplomacy, tact and empathy. 13. Able to effectively establish
priorities and meet deadlines. 14. Multi-task oriented. 15. Ability
to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
16. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings
and possibly weekends. 17. Must be able to perform the essential
duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. 18.
Must be comfortable when working to tight deadlines, and able to
turn work around within a short time span where demands are liable
to change atshort notice. 19.
MustpossessandmaintainavalidCaliforniaDriver'sLicense and be
insurability through TREDC InsuranceCompany. 20. Must pass
pre-employment background, drug and alcoholscreening. PHYSICAL
REQUIRMENTS Position requires prolonged
kneeling,bending, squatting and stooping in the performance of
daily activities. The position also requires grasping, repetitive
handmovement and fine coordination in preparing reports using a
computer keyboard. Specificvisionabilitiesrequiredbythisjobinclude
reading,distance,computer,andcolor vision.Acute hearing isrequired.
Typically office work setting conditions. Frequentlymust be able to
lift up to 10 pounds, normally must be able to lift up to 20
pounds, and occasionally must be able to lift over 20 pounds.
Thisjobmay require the use of a vehicle, and an employeemust be
able to have those repetitive motions and coordination associated
with operating a motor vehicle. This position reports to: TREDE CEO
Hours: Flexible Hours/Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM/40 Hours
