A clinic in California is seeking a Internal Medicine Physician to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.

Assignment

• Dates: Asap- ongoing Monday-Sunday open
• Schedule: Monday- Thursday 7:30- 9:00
• Friday 7:30-7:00
• Saturday and Sunday: 8:00-6:00
• can do a variation of 5 8hr shifts or 4 9hr shifts (40 hour weeks)
• Setting: Outpatient
• Call: No Call
• Volume: 20-25 per 8 hrs
• Patient Ages: 18 and up
• Procedures: toe nail removal. paps if comfortable not mandatory, less procedures more continuity of care due to type of population
• Cases: an underserved population so heaving on chronic illness, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, acute illness, as well as common and seasonal illness, coughs, colds, flu, vaccinations
• Support Staff: 2 MAs per physician
• EMR/Charting: EClinical works

Requirements

• Boards: Board Certified; Board Eligible within 5 years
• Certifications: BLS; DEA
