1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Labor and Delivery or completion
of an extended orientation period. License: Current State License
as a Registered Nurse required. Certifications: BLS, NRP,
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BFHI Lactation Education
preferred. Must-Have: - Must be able to care for Antepartum,
Intrapartum, Postpartum patients and stable newborns, as well as
stabilize newborns for transport. - Must have certification in
fetal monitoring. - Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Outlook and
Microsoft Word. - Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Description: Nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Responsible for
providing comprehensive nursing care for patients across all phases
of labor and delivery. Must be comfortable with stabilizing
newborns. Demonstrates the ability to delegate care and coordinate
with healthcare team members. Reports directly to the Perinatal
Nurse Manager. Collaborates with all members of the healthcare team
for effective patient care. Responsibilities include assessing
patient needs and developing appropriate care plans. Exposure to
blood, body fluids, and tissues is included in this position. Must
demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across
the lifespan of patients. Analytical skills are necessary to
prioritize workload and resolve patient care issues. Interpersonal
skills are essential for instructing and comforting patients and
families. Basic computer skills are required, and the ability to
learn applicable software programs is necessary. Requirements
