the Position Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist
in Bakersfield, CA Are you a dedicated OB hospitalist seeking a

We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide
exceptional obstetric care on weekends, supporting hospitals in
Bakersfield, CA. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to

flexible scheduling. Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient
obstetric care, including delivery, postpartum, and antepartum
management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure
optimal patient outcomes Maintain comprehensive and accurate
medical documentation Adhere to hospital protocols and stay current
with best practices in obstetrics Required Skills: Medical degree
from an accredited institution Active California medical license
and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid
stateside DEA and California Medical Board credentials Minimum of 2
years of obstetric clinical experience Strong clinical skills and
the ability to work independently Excellent communication and
teamwork abilities Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in a
hospitalist setting or public health environment Bilingual in
English and Spanish Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR)
systems Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree with
obstetrics specialization Prior locum or hospitalist position
experience preferred Trending knowledge of current obstetrics
guidelines and protocols Other Requirements: Availability to work
weekends consistently starting from December 31, 2025 Willingness
to undergo credentialing and onboarding processes Ability to travel
to and from healthcare facilities as needed Certification in ACLS,
NRP, and BLS This opportunity offers an hourly pay rate of $195.00,
with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits
