This role combines direct clinical care with program leadership—maintain a small caseload while supervising associate therapists and overseeing daily operations. Provide trauma-informed therapy without the burnout of impossible caseloads. Why Join Us: 2–3 client caseload —deep, meaningful work vs. managing 15 clients $10k sign-on bonus for licensed therapists Provide clinical supervision to associates (AMFT, APCC, ASW) toward licensure Small 6-bed home environment, not a large institutional facility Full benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k match, PTO, company phone & laptop What You'll Do: Provide weekly individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy using DBT, CBT, and trauma-focused modalities Supervise associate-level therapists and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and behavioral health staff on treatment planning Lead daily operations of the residential program, ensuring a safe, therapeutic milieu Manage admissions, discharges, and care transitions alongside the Clinical Director Lead shift huddles and weekly team meetings; coach direct care staff in real time Maintain compliance with California Community Care Licensing and Joint Commission standards Participate in a weekly on-call rotation Requirements: What We're Looking For: Must Have: Master's or Doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or MFT Active CA license: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD Eligible to supervise associate therapists 3 years in adolescent residential treatment, psychiatric care, or intensive behavioral health Strong background in trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders, and family therapy Preferred: Training in DBT, CBT, EMDR, or motivational interviewing Experience supervising AMFT, APCC, or ASW clinicians Familiarity with Community Care Licensing and Joint Commission standards Compensation $105,000-$125,000 annually based on education and experience.
