Job Description Pride Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in Clovis, NM 88101. This is a 26-week contract with potential for extension . Job Responsibilities: Requires detailed knowledge of physical therapy in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done; this level includes interpretation of data. Basic understanding of the rules and regulations of the specific setting. Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical function and developmental disorders. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served. Oversees and insures a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, and immediate environmental well-being of the patient. Promotes patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence. Coordinates and communicates with various disciplines or services involved in patient care. Coordinates efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care. Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long term care, community based care and home health care. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Must have Inpatient and Outpatient Experience and at least one year of Peds PT experience if working in Peds Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required. Additional Information: Location: Clovis, NM 88101 Schedule: 40 hours/week - Days Contract Length: 26 weeks Gross weekly: $2,666 (Candidate must live 50 miles away) W2 hourly (Taxable): $35.50 Stipend Weekly (Non - Taxable): $1246.00 * Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
