Under the general direction of the Unit Director, Clinical Manager and Charge Nurse, independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the unit.-- Demonstrates an advanced level of clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care.-- Independently performs general and unit-specific clinical skills.Is responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served, i.e. Neo-Nate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.-- Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.The Hospital is committed to complying with all applicable laws providing equal employment opportunities.-- This commitment applies to all persons involved in the Hospital operations and prohibits unlawful discrimination by any employee of the Hospital, including supervisors and coworkers.

We offer up to $4,000 relocation reimbursements for out of state and up to $2000 for in-state outside of a 50 mile radius from residence to hospital.----We also extend a sign on bonuses:-- $10k paid over a 2 year period for RN's with a minimum of three years' experience and $3k paid over a two year period for RN's with more than 1 year and less than three years' experience.Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.-- Must have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.--Minimum of one year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience required.Must be able to work normal/scheduled working hours to include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours.
