Job Description:
Bee Sweet Citrus is seeking a highly energetic, motivated
individual who is interested in pursuing a career in the farming
industry to join our Farm Management Department as a Pest Control
Advisor Intern. This individual will assist with identifying pests,
weeds and other organisms on our fields, as well as implementing
IPM practices on a regular basis. Responsibilities & Duties Job
duties include, but are not limited to the following: Assisting
PCA(s) with field checking, pest and weed identification,
recommendations writing and fertilization plans Placing traps in
fields, conducting field evaluations and pulling soils and leaf
samples Learning and applying IPM practices, calibrations, safety
and mixing Skills & Other Technical Knowledge College student
pursuing a degree in Agriculture Knowledge of weeds and herbicides
Must be able to work well independently and with others Must have a
clean driving record Bilingual in English and Spanish Powered by
