About: Scrubcan Inc. is a locally owned and operated business founded in 2014 by Corey Jackson with offices in Fresno, CA. Scrubcan Inc. set out to tackle the growing health and environmental hazards posed by dirty residential trash containers and designed a state-of-the-art cleaning system using recycled water to clean and sanitize the containers while reclaiming the dirty water. After a successful launch of Scrubcans residential product offering, the company focused on commercial cleaning opportunities. Our focus has shifted to building and scaling a vertically integrated commercial cleaning company to address the varied needs of our clients. In addition to its residential services, Scrubcan Inc provides janitorial, fleet, solar panel, commercial pressure washing, and disinfecting services every day throughout the Central Valley. Responsibilities: Perform assigned commercial and residential cleaning services, including (but not limited to) pressure washing, solar panel cleaning, trash bin and dumpster cleaning, gutter cleaning, exterior surface cleaning, and related services. Deliver high-quality work that meets Scrubcans service standards within established timeframes. Follow daily job schedules, routes, and service instructions accurately and efficiently. Operate equipment safely and correctly, including pressure washers and cleaning tools using high-temperature water when required. Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, and other safety gear, as appropriate for each task. Safely lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds; perform repetitive physical activities such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Work comfortably at heights, including on roofs and ladders, when cleaning gutters, solar panels, and exterior surfaces. Maintain professional, customer-facing interactions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and internal team members via phone, text, and email. Identify and report potential safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or service issues to management and document findings on customer checklists or service reports. Arrive on-site at scheduled times, complete services according to standards, and ensure facilities are secured before departure. Accurately clock in and out at the correct locations and times and comply with all break and meal period requirements. Handle special customer requests as directed and document completion appropriately. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and incident-reporting requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, vehicles, and equipment. Participate in training and demonstrate a willingness to continuously improve skills and knowledge. Provide support as a flexible, floating team member when assigned to different routes, locations, or service areas. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in cleaning services, facilities maintenance, hospitality, janitorial services, pressure washing, or other customer-facing roles preferred. Valid California drivers license with reliable transportation. Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprint-based background check, physical examination, drug testing, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check. Authorized to work in the United States. Strong work ethic with a reputation for reliability, dependability, and professionalism. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients on-site. Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet schedules. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapting to operational changes. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to customer-specific requirements. Team-oriented and coachable, with a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and contribute to team success. Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision. Physically able to meet job demands, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and repetitive motions throughout the workday. Willing and able to work flexible schedules, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, nights, and graveyard shifts as required. Ownership of a smartphone and proficiency using either iOS or Android applications. Willingness to travel to and between customer locations as required. The hourly range for this position at the start of employment is $18.00 - $23.00. Within this range, individual pay is determined by permissible non-discriminatory factors such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work availability, and internal equity considerations.
